Rene Marie Russo is an American actress filmmaker and a former supermodel. Rene Marie Russo, born in the United States, is an actress, filmmaker and ex-supermodel. She's known for her beauty and elegance. Her longevity in a highly competitive industry is a testament to her talents and abilities as a performer. She began modeling during the 1970s. She soon became one the top models. Then, in the mid 1990s, she began studying theatre and acting. In the following years, in Los Angeles and California she began to make her stage debuts. Russo first appeared on TV in ABCs Sable with the character Eden Kendell, in 1987. In the following year she portrayed Tom Berengers love interest in her debut film Major League. At first, she was skeptical about her capabilities in the field of acting, critics were won over because of her tenacity. They especially loved her in Wolfgang Petersen's Outbreak where she held herself against the likes that of Dustin Hoffman and Morgan Freeman. She admits that she is not passionate about acting. In 2005, she went on a self-imposed hiatus. In the film Thor, she returned to acting. In addition, she starred in Nightcrawler which was her husband's Oscar Award-winning film. She began her professional career as an amateur fighter, and she fought for a variety of regional events. Then she enlisted with Invicta Fighting Championships before joining Ultimate Fighting Championships (UFC). After joining UFC in 2011, UFC in 2011 she was famous thanks to the popularity she achieved both on and off the an octagon. Namajunas is born the 29th of June on the 29th of June, 1992 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to a Lithuanian immigrants family. Rose played sports like basketball as well as kickboxing while she was growing up. When she was 18 years old, she made her professional debut for Invicta Fighting Championships at which she won two fights by submission. Dana White noticed this and in December 2014, aged 22, she signed up to compete as a strawweight with UFC. In the course of Rose her career, she's experienced periods of extremes and lows, but every times she has come out ahead. Rose took on Carla Esparza in April 2015 for the Women's Strawweight Championship. She won the fight via technical knockout in just 3 minutes in the initial round. This was the first ever women to compete for a title title with any major organization worldwide. After this win, Namajunas went onto have several other victories in which she defeated Joanna Jedrzejczyk twice which earned her Performance Of The Night honors from UFC after these wins .
